Life Is A Journey

Life is a journey,.
Life is a stage and we are the actors,
playing roles,
ultimately leading to our destiny.
At times life seems confusing.
At times life can seem scary.
Leaping through boundless hurdles,
conquering those goals and fears,
everything can be a limitless possibility.
Smiles to be given and received,
laughter heard for miles,
life can be a sweet melody.
With joy there can come heartache,
and with heartache, there can come tears.
Life wasn’t promised to be easy.
From battling chronic illness all of my life,
to unexpectedly entering the unknown, blindness,
to losing my soulmate,
life can make a person angry.
However,
your outlook on life is whatever you shape it to be.
I will not live in misery.
I will play the cards I’ve been dealt,
I will try my hardest to be happy.
For life is a journey.
